A gang verbally abused a delivery driver on a York street – before one of them then attacked him.
It happened on Lawrence Street at 6.20pm on Tuesday 28 November.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A group of men were aggressive and abusive towards a delivery driver before one of them assaulted him.
“Police are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
In particular, officers are appealing for information, witnesses and CCTV footage of the incident.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. He’s been interviewed and released under investigation.
