Emergency services were called to a crash where a van ended up on its side in a field.
It happened on the B6451 at Harrogate at 11.29pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Harrogate firefighters assisted police with containing a fuel leak on a van lying on its side in a field after it had been involved in a road traffic collision earlier.
“The driver was out of the vehicle and uninjured prior to fire crews arrival.
“Fire crews used dammit paste from the environmental pack to contain the leak. The incident was left with police to arrange recovery of the vehicle during daylight hours.”
