People were trapped in their vehicles after a crash in the Selby area last night.
Two vehicles collided on the A63 between Hambleton and Monk Fryston at 9.15pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Selby attended a two vehicle road traffic collision with persons trapped.

“Crews removed the casualties from the vehicles and left them in the care of the ambulance service.”
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. It has since reopened.
