Emergency services have been called to York’s Castle Car Park this afternoon (Friday).
Police, fire, ambulances went to the scene. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance landed on the Eye of York.
Three cars had collided in the car park.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews responded to reports of a person trapped under a vehicle following a road traffic collision in Castle Car park.
“On their arrival the individual was not trapped under a vehicle.





“Crews assisted with first aid and transferring the casualty into the air ambulance.”
The air ambulance then flew the casualty to Leeds General Infirmary.
A section of the Castle Car Park close to Clifford’s Tower is cordoned off by police. The rest of the car park is still open, although congested.
