Youths started a fire in York last night (Wednesday).
Firefighters from Huntington were called to a fire in the open in Haxby at 8.21pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This was extinguished using a hose reel jet.
“The fire was believed to have been started deliberately by youths.”
