There was a significant emergency service response to an incident in Selby late last night.
Police, fire and ambulance crews went to the railway station shortly before midnight.
They were responding to an incident on one of the station platforms.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Selby railway station at 11.46pm yesterday (Thursday) following reports of a person sitting on the edge of the platform preventing trains from moving.
“Officers attended and a person was arrested in connection.”
