A highly-rated young York footballer has signed for Spurs.
Oliver Boast has signed his first professional contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
He was a regular for the team’s Under-18s last season after arriving from Leeds United in the summer.
He’d been at Leeds since the age of eight.
Capable of playing at centre-forward or on the right side of the attacking line, Oliver – who turned 17 last month – featured in all but one of Tottenham’s Under-18 Premier League games in 2025/26.
He scored 14 goals, including a hat-trick at Birmingham City in March. He also added three more goals in the team’s run to the semi-finals of the Under-18 Premier League Cup.
An England Under-17 international, Oliver also made four appearances in Spurs’ Under-19 UEFA Youth League campaign.
Oliver was a regular member of the York School Football teams.
Taking to Instagram, Oliver said: “Proud moment for me and my family to sign my first professional contract.”
