York’s top band say this year’s Shedcember will be the biggest yet

Legendary York band Shed Seven are going back on tour – as they announce the return of their winter tour Shedcember X.

Since it began back in 2007, Shedcember has become known as the unofficial start to the festive season. This year marks the 10th edition – hence the name, Shedcember X – and so it promises to be the biggest and most celebratory Shedcember yet.

Concert-goers can expect a career-spanning set, with a few surprises thrown in for good measure.

Shed Seven has celebrated a fantastic last couple of years with two UK number one albums with A Matter Of Time and Liquid Gold.

After the announcement, Shed Seven took to social media to say, “Blimey… what a huge response to the Shedcember tour announcement yesterday.

“We genuinely love playing live, and we really hope you can make one of the dates.”

Though there’s no York date for the Shedcember X tour, the band will be coming to other Yorkshire cities like Leeds and Sheffield.

Pre-sale will open on Wednesday 22 April at 10am – with pre-sale access via the band’s mailing list, sign up here.

Remaining tickets will then be on sale on Friday 24 April at 10am – get your tickets for Leeds here.
