York came together to celebrate the best in the business last night (Thursday).
The YorkMix Choice Awards 2025 showcased the finest, most dedicated, best engaged businesses in York and North Yorkshire.
The ceremony took place at The Milner York Hotel, which was packed out for the event.
Sponsored by York St John University, the YorkMix Choice Awards saw honours given to winners in 20 categories – including Best Takeaway, Best Pub, Best Gym and Best Place to Stay.
Before the awards got underway, we were treated to the fabulous Gareth Taylor, the lead singer of Queen Extravaganza, the official Queen tribute band produced by Roger Taylor and Brian May.
After he’d got everyone up and dancing, YorkMix managing director David Green welcomed everyone.
The awards ceremony was hosted by YorkMix Radio Breakfast presenter Laura Castle. And the charity partner was Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
