A woman reported missing in York for several days has been found safe.
The 48-year-old woman was reported missing on Saturday (4 February), but hadn’t been seen for a number of days before that.
Police appealed for information to locate her – and revealed a bag belonging to her was found in the Wembley Park area of London on Friday.
Today (Sunday), North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “A missing 48-year-old York woman has been found safe.
“She was reported missing yesterday, and has since been located in London.
“Thank you for your help in sharing the appeal.”
