York Theatre Royal have announced that Tommy Carmichael will be back to appear in this year’s fairytale panto extravaganza Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Tommy, who previously appeared in the 2025 York Theatre Royal pantomime Sleeping Beauty as Jangles, will be back this time playing Muddles.
And he will be reunited with beloved panto dame Robin Simpson who has already been announced to return for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The show is written by Paul Hendy, directed by Juliet Forster and co-produced with award-winning Evolution Productions – the team behind previous York pantomime hits Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin and last year’s Sleeping Beauty.
Juliet Forster, creative director at York Theatre Royal, said: “We are delighted to have Tommy back with us for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs this year!
“Robin and Tommy have such a fabulous energy and comedic rapport when they are on stage together and we know audiences will love having them back to bring all the laughs once again.
“Feedback from last year was just so brilliant and we already have performances which are close to selling out so it’s never too early to get your tickets!”
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is at York Theatre Royal from 4 December to 3 January. With lavish costumes, stunning sets, hilarious jokes and dazzling special effects, this will be an unmissable treat for the whole family.
Family tickets are available for all performances with savings of up to £61 on bookings with 4 tickets. Find out more on the York Theatre Royal website.
