York pub and chicken restaurant team up for tasty collaboration

A popular York eatery has announced their new kitchen residency at Museum Street Tavern.

Yo Yo Wings, on Grape Lane, is bringing its wings, strips and burgers to the pub on Museum Street.

This partnership comes from a friendship between Tom, owner of Museum Street Tavern, and Kieran, owner of Yo Yo Wings – who share a passion for good food, great hospitality, and creating spaces people want to return to.

The two local, independent businesses are excited to be teaming up and working together to offer the best of both worlds: good food and a proper chilled pint.

Tom from Museum Street Tavern said, “The best part of being independent is that you get to work with people you actually like. Yo Yo Wings fits our place perfectly — they do what they do well, and our customers will feel that straight away.”

Kieran from Yo Yo Wings said, “Tom and I have talked about doing something together for a while. Once we realised our values matched — welcoming atmosphere, quality first, no nonsense — it just clicked. We’re excited to make this place somewhere people want to settle in and stay.”

Food is served every day, with their usual midweek highlights like Wing Wednesday and Friday burger deals — and even the Hot Wing Challenge, if you dare.
