North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the theft of a commercial vehicle, full of tools, in Northallerton.
The incident occurred overnight between Tuesday, 28 January and Wednesday, 29 January 2026.
The white Ford Transit panel van was stolen from a residential street in the Ashlands Close area.
The stolen vehicle’s registration is FG62KHZ.
It features distinctive branding on the rear, including a contact number ending in 607.
The van was loaded with a significant quantity of professional DeWalt power tools. Many of these items are uniquely identifiable and will have victim’s initials written on them in black marker pen.
Police are requesting that residents in the Ashlands Close area check any private CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell camera footage captured during the overnight period for signs of the vehicle or suspicious activity.
Officers urge members of the public—particularly those in the trade—to be vigilant if offered high-value tools for sale under suspicious circumstances or at unusually low prices.
