A woman needed to go to hospital after being bitten by a dog near York.
It happened at about 11.40am on Friday 3 July outside the Post Office in Copmanthorpe.
The dog bite pierced her skin and she went to hospital for antibiotics and tetanus vaccinations.

The dog was on a lead at the time, and has been described as a small Bichon Frisé, possibly a cross breed.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help identify the owner of the dog so that she can be asked about the incident.
“There is very limited CCTV of the incident, therefore a description of the female has been provided. She is an elderly white female, slim build, using a walking frame.”
