Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a crash on the A59.
It happened at Upper Poppleton at around 5.15pm on Sunday 25 August.
A black Subaru Forrester and a grey BMW travelling in opposite directions collided.
The woman passenger of the BMW was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The other passengers and driver were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for four hours while police investigated the scene and the cars were recovered.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
