A woman was cut free from her car after a late-night crash in Ryedale.
Firefighters responded to reports of a collision at 11.43pm last night (Friday) on Station Road, Sherburn, near Malton.
When the crews from Sherburn and Scarborough arrived, they found a vehicle in a ditch with the woman trapped inside.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The driver was assessed by a paramedic before crews removed the passenger front door of the vehicle to release the female from the vehicle.”
No other vehicle was involved.
