Police want to talk to him in connection with an incident in York city centre.
It happened on Gillygate in the early hours of Sunday 28 January when a woman was assaulted.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to speak to him as we believe he will have information that will help our investigation.”
