The A19 Easingwold bypass is currently closed
This is due to a hay trailer catching fire. The road is expected to remain shut for several hours. North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue are dealing with the incident
The area affected is between the Thirsk Road Roundabout and the Cross Lanes Roundabout to the south of Easingwold.
North Yorkshire Council says please avoid the area and use an alternative route.
