A woman driver will appear in court on a drink drive charge after a late-night incident in York.
The woman, aged 18, was arrested at 1am today (Wednesday) after police officers on patrol spotted a blue Peugeot 307 estate car that had broken down on Cemetery Road.
The front nearside of the car was badly damaged.

The woman driver failed a road-side breath test.
At the police station, she provided an evidential sample of 107 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. That is three times more than the legal limit of 35 micrograms.
The woman, from Knaresborough, is due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on 29 February charged with drink-driving.
She was released on bail ahead of the court appearance.
