Single White Female

Based on the iconic 90’s psychological thriller, the world premiere stage production of Single White Female is a bold and modern reimagining of the best-selling book and hit movie, that coined a phrase and led a generation to fear a stiletto heel!

Starring the multi-talented Kym Marsh (Coronation Street, Waterloo Road, Abigail’s Party) and actress and presenter Lisa Faulkner (Holby City, Murder In Suburbia, John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen), Single White Female invites us into a world where trust is fragile, friendships are tested, and secrets lurk behind every closed door.

Colour & Light

York BID is bringing Colour & Light back for 2026, this time on it’s biggest ever canvas. For the first time, two of York’s landmark buildings will be illuminated together, as York Castle Museum and Clifford’s Tower become a combined canvas for a fully choreographed projection show, transforming the Eye of York. The continuous, looped, ten-minute show will bring York’s historic characters to life in a family-friendly projection that’s welcoming to all, completely free to see and with no tickets required.

Calamity Jane

Saddle up and head on down to Deadwood City, as the Joseph Rowntree Theatre Company capture the spirit of the Western Frontier with their production of Calamity Jane! Filled with humour, heart, and classic tunes, this beloved musical tells the story of love, friendship, and finding where you truly belong. Featuring timeless songs such as The Deadwood Stage, Windy City and Secret Love.

Tales from Acorn Wood

Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved Tales from Acorn Wood stories are brought to life on stage in an enchanting lift-the-flap experience.

Poor old Fox has lost his socks! Are they in the kitchen or inside the clock? And Rat-a-tat-tat! Who’s that keeping tired Rabbit awake? You can also join in with Pig and Hen’s game of hide-and-seek and discover the special surprise Postman Bear is planning for his friends.

Packed full of toe-tapping songs, puppetry, and all the friends from Acorn Wood, this beautiful show from the team that brought you Dear Zoo Live and Dear Santa promises to be the perfect treat for children of all ages.

NT Live: The Fifth Step

Olivier Award-winner Jack Lowden (Slow Horses, Dunkirk) is joined by Emmy and BAFTA-winner Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, The Responder) in the critically acclaimed and subversively funny new play by David Ireland.

After years in the 12-step programme of Alcoholics Anonymous, James becomes a sponsor to newcomer Luka. The pair bond over black coffee, trade stories and build a fragile friendship out of their shared experiences. But as Luka approaches step five – the moment of confession – dangerous truths emerge, threatening the trust on which both of their recoveries depend.

Twilight in Concert: The Film with Live Band

Barn Dance, Buffet & Musical Extravaganza Fundraiser

We are very excited to invite you along to a special Barn Dance, Buffet & Musical Extravaganza Fundraiser. Hailing from all corners of the globe, Big Deal is a foot stomping, cat-calling, thigh-slapping, yip-yipping, hoe-down band. It’s the band’s 40th Anniversary which ties in very nicely with our 25th Anniversary. Prior members of the band are are amassing from all over the country, as well as from America and in one case New Zealand, for the occasion.

There will be a fun Barn Dance, where Caller Jo will take you through the dance steps, guaranteeing to have you dancing from start to stop — or until you drop.

A delicious buffet crafted by the team from local independents Partisan and Brancusi is all part of the ticket price, with a bar and exciting raffle ready for you on the evening. And in between there will be tunes and songs from a whole array of talented musicians.
