Filming continues in York this week for the new series of hit show Patience.
The cast and crew of the Channel 4 drama could be seen shooting scenes aboard a City Cruises boat today (Monday), as it sailed up and down the River Ouse.
Star of Patience, Ella Maisy Purvis as the titular character, could be seen filming on the open-top boat – with the production crew battling against the changeable weather.

“We’re delighted to welcome a very talented cast and crew aboard a City Cruises vessel this week,” Chris Pegg, head of regional commercial, sales and marketing at City Cruises York, told YorkMix.
“From a business perspective, set-jetting is bigger than ever and visitors are increasingly choosing destinations based on their favourite shows. York is perfectly placed to benefit, and the River Ouse makes for quite the cinematic setting.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with the team involved.”

Patience follows a young woman with autism who is navigating her role within the criminal records department of the City of York Police.
Her amazing ability to spot patterns suddenly makes her a key part of the detective team solving strange and usually murderous crimes around the city.
Filming began in York last week outside York Minster, which attracted a large crowd of spectators.
The filming is expected to take place in other iconic York locations this week, including the Shambles.
Alongside Ella Maisy Purvis, the show also stars Bafta award winning actor Jessica Hynes, who plays DI Frankie Monroe.
