The Northern Lights lit up the skies over York and North Yorkshire again last night (Thursday) – and people have taken some amazing pictures.
But don’t worry if you missed the celestial spectacle, they will be back last night.
Nick Winn took the time lapse video below of the Northern Lights over Brayton.

It shows dazzling pinks and greens lighting up the skies in waves.
Nick told YorkMix: “It’s always fascinating to see the lights, we’ve been lucky with how clear it has been this week.”
And below are a selection of the fabulous photos from YorkMix listeners and readers.
Also known as aurora borealis, the phenomenon was visible in large parts of England.
The Met Office said there were “more space weather events in recent months”, including the Northern Lights, because the sun was nearing the peak of its solar cycle.
The auroras on Earth, which are most commonly seen over high polar latitudes but can spread south, are chiefly influenced by geomagnetic storms which originate from activity on the Sun.
Sunspots give the potential for Earth-directed releases of large bursts of energy, called coronal mass ejections, which can lead to aurora visibility.
