The Yorkshire Air Ambulance landed close to a main road during an emergency call in York.
It touched down at Imphal Barracks in response to a medical emergency yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
Police stopped traffic on Fulford Road while the emergency was dealt with.

North Yorkshire Police told YorkMix the incident was related to a medical emergency.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Ambulance resources responded to a medical emergency at a property on Fulford Road, York, on Tuesday afternoon. No further details are available.”

And a spokesperson for Yorkshire Air Ambulance said: “One of our helicopters attended an incident near Fulford Road yesterday lunchtime.
“However, we didn’t convey the patient to hospital on this occasion.”
