Scarborough Crews were mobilised to two fires in the open yesterday, Saturday 27th June.
Both happened in the afternoon, only a couple of hours apart. North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service they were deliberate.
Crews used knapsack sprayers to extinguish the first one and a bucket of water for the next.
It comes after warnings about fires spreading in warm weather and the dangers of lighting one in an open space.
