Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a village near Selby, yesterday evening (Thursday).
They attended the incident in Camblesforth at 6.20pm.
Crews found 16 waste car tyres that had been set alight. They used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.
They said the cause of the fire was deliberate.
