An accident closed a York road on Saturday morning.
Two cars collided on Melrosegate at around 11.30am.
The rear of a silver Ford hatchback was badly damaged in the collision with another vehicle
Police closed the road while they dealt with the accident.
Traffic was diverted along Rawdon Avenue and Harrington Avenue.
Witnesses said they thought no one was badly hurt in the collision.
