Victims of county lines crimes helped through poetry

There’s an exhibition at Selby Abbey about the “Listen Up” scheme which gives children and young people a voice to describe their encounters with county lines.

There’s poetry and lyrics looking at the exploitation of the crime, related activities, and knife crime.

Along with the support of Selby police, the author Christina Gabbitas has helped those who’ve been victims.

The exhibition will open on 8th and close on 14th December.
