A driver was hurt after crashing on the A1M after swerving to avoid an animal.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 1.55am today (Saturday) near Catterick.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crew were mobilised to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision due to a vehicle swerving to avoid an animal and leaving the road.
“Crews assisted ambulance crews to move patient from the vehicle to an ambulance using crew power and a spine board.”
