Vandals have damaged a play area in York.
Firefighters from Acomb were called to the Water End area at 9.11pm after a wooden swing was set alight.
They used a hose reel to put out the fire, which caused damage to the swing.
In an earlier incident, two Selby crews were called to waste set alight in a field in Carlton at 8.26am.
The waste included gas cylinders.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish the flames.
