A man missing from home has been found safe and well.
Police launched an appeal to find the 53-year-old man who was believed to be in the Filey/ Scarborough/ Bridlington area.
He left his home either on or before Thursday 21 December and officers were carrying out extensive enquiries to locate him.
Then at 12.49pm today (Christmas Day), police released this statement: “The 53-year-old man reported missing in the Filey area has been found safe and well in Bridlington.
“Thank you for supporting the appeal which has now been cancelled.”
