A teenage girl who had gone missing in York has been found safe and well.
Earlier today, police issued an appeal to find the 16-year-old girl, last seen in the York area at 3.30pm yesterday (Friday).
At 4.19pm, North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “Today (30 December) North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal to help find a missing 16-year-old girl from York.
“The force is pleased to report that she has been found safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal.”
