The A63 Ouse Swing Bridge in Selby is expected to be open to two-way traffic again from Friday (1 May) morning.
Tonight, (Thursday 30 April) there are long delays on the A19 and A63 again as a result of the work going on.
North Yorkshire Council have said that it will also be under a 20mph temporary speed limit until permanent repairs are completed.
Two-way lights will be reintroduced during May while further unrelated joint repairs are carried out.
The lights are likely to be in place for two to three days.
