Firefighters were called to help two people trapped inside an electric car.
It happened on Long Street, Topcliffe at 5.17pm yesterday.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Thirsk’s crew were mobilised to an incident involving an electric car with two people trapped inside.

“Crews used crew power to pry open the door and get the spare key from the driver which they then used to unlock and release the two trapped individuals.”
