Firefighters are tackling a fire at a York business this morning (Thursday).
Crews from Huntington and York were called out at 1.24am to Stockton on the Forest.
They were fighting “a fire involving a steel framed building containing a biomass boiler and wood chipping,” a service spokesperson said.
“Crews using two covering jets as incident is still ongoing but has been scaled down to one appliance.”
Station Manager Tony Walker says: “An investigation is now underway. No injuries have been reported at this time.”
