There are three flood warnings in force after the heavy rainfall yesterday.
Storm Chandra has passed and today is set to be dry (Wednesday, 28 January).
But there’s a yellow weather warning for ice until 10am today .
These are the flood warnings (flooding is expected):
- River Ouse at York – riverside properties
- River Derwent at Stamford Bridge – The Weir Caravan Park and Kexby Bridge
- River Derwent at Buttercrambe Mill
There are also a number of flood alerts (flooding is possible) in North Yorkshire. You can see them here.
Last night (Tuesday) the A64 was closed in both directions at about 8.30pm between B1248 (Norton) and B1258 (West Knapton) due to flooding.
It reopened at about 10.40pm.
