Thieves have stolen donations from a York charity shop.
It happened at the St Leonard’s Hospice shop on York Road, Acomb between 4.30pm on Saturday and 8.15am today (Monday).
Burglars entered the store and stole a dark grey safe containing cash donations.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area during this time, or who has information that may assist the investigation, is asked to contact the police.”
