Police are investigating a theft at a supermarket cash machine.
It happened at the Thirsk Tesco ATM on Thursday 9 April at 5.36pm.
The victim withdrew £30 from the cashpoint.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “She has become distracted and has walked away having left the money in the cashpoint where it has subsequently been taken by the next person to use the cashpoint.”
They want to trace the woman in the picture as part of their enquiries.
