Teenagers caught on CCTV vandalising York football changing rooms

Police are hunting three boys and a girl who were caught on CCTV vandalising a changing room block in York.

The incident happened at the Ethel Ward Playing Field, Calf Close in Haxby on Wednesday (8 June) between 7.50pm and 8pm.

It involved three boys and one girl, who are believed to be aged between 13 and 16-years-old.

The group were seen running towards and kicking the door of the football changing rooms.

They broke it open causing costly damage before running away across the field.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “They had a couple of bikes with them and were said to be amongst a larger group of youths sat on the steps to the building.

“The incident was captured on CCTV and enquiries to identify those involved are ongoing.”

Descriptions

The first boy is described as white, of slim build, aged around 13 to 14-years-old, with short blond hair.

He was wearing dark, thick rimmed rectangle glasses and a grey hooded jumper with a black gillet, black skinny fit tracksuit bottoms with a small white logo to the top of the left leg and black trainers.

The second boy is described as white, of slim build, aged around 14 to 16-years-old, with short brown hair.

He was wearing black Adidas tracksuit bottoms with stripes down both sides and Adidas written on the back left calf, black Adidas trainers with three white stripes and white soles. He was also wearing a thick navy blue Puffa jacket with a small white logo to the left chest.

The third boy is described as white, of slim build, aged around 14 to 16-years-old with short dark blond hair.

He was wearing a slim fit black t-shirt with a small white symbol to the right chest and a matching dark grey tracksuit with a white logo on top of the left leg and a thin white stripe down the sides.

The tracksuit top was tied around his neck at the time and he was also wearing all black trainers.

The girl is described as white, of medium build, aged around 14 to 16-years-old with blond hair which was worn in two French plaits. She was wearing black leggings, a black short zip up top with black trainers with white laces and white soles.
