Starbucks is on manoeuvres in Selby.
The global coffee shop chain is now recruiting for a new branch in the town.
It is looking to hire managers and baristas for the venture.
The recruitment adverts say the store will be on Bawtry Road, YO8 8LY. That puts it in the Three Lakes Retail Park, already home to Tim Hortons café and takeaway.
Rumours in the town say that Tim Hortons’ lease is up and Starbucks is planning to move into that store, complete with drive-thru, but this is unconfirmed.
Jobs on offer include deputy store manager, assistant manager and barista.

Starbucks was cagey about the project when we contacted them, saying they weren’t ready to share any details.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “We are always looking for new locations and opportunities to bring the Starbucks experience to customers in the UK, but at this time we have no updates to share about plans in Selby.”
Tim Hortons has yet to respond to our request for a comment.
