There’s been a serious crash on the A64 near York this evening (Monday, 12 January).
It’s blocking the westbound carriageway near Bilbrough Top.
A van and four cars are said to be involved. Emergency services are on the scene.

The AA reports: “Road blocked and slow traffic due to crash on A64 westbound between A1237 (Copmanthorpe roundabout) and the A659.”
Drivers report standstill traffic on the affected carriageway.
