Trains were cancelled as all lines were blocked between York and Scarborough this morning (Monday).
It was due to overrunning engineering works in the York area.
The problem has now been cleared.
Earlier, train operator TransPennine Express said: “Due to engineering works not being finished on time between York and Scarborough all lines are blocked.
“Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from York.”
At 7.59am, the company issued this update: “CLEARED: services are no longer affected by this problem.”
