A sinkhole has opened in a York street.
It is on Greenshaw Drive near Westfield Lane, Wigginton, and is causing buses to divert.
Today (Monday) work is being undertaken to fix the damage, causing road closures.

First York posted on X today: “Diversion in Haxby due to a sinkhole at the corner of Greenshaw Drive.
“Normal route to terminus, into Walmer Carr, left out of Walmer Carr, right Greenshaw Dr, left onto Westfield, right on to normal route.”
The bus company said on its website: “Please note due to emergency waterworks Westfield Lane in Haxby is closed on Monday 4 December.”
Yorkshire Water is undertaking emergency works today to fix the problem.
