There is major disruption between Retford and Doncaster due to a person being hit by a train.
LNER at York says they are working with Network Rail to get services moving again as quickly as possible.
In an update they later added that the railway was open to trains again.
This also affects Grand Central at Thirsk and Northallerton and Hull Trains at Selby.
Trains are running, but there is major disruption, and you will face long delays and/or experience severe overcrowding.

- If you are currently waiting at a station, please listen out for station announcements or speak to a member of station staff. If you are unable to complete your journey today and require hotel accommodation, please speak to a member of station staff.
You can use your LNER ticket to travel on the following services at no extra cost:
- Avanti West Coast between London Euston and Manchester.
- TransPennine Express between Manchester, Leeds and York/Newcastle.
- Northern Rail between Carlisle and Newcastle.
- East Midlands Railway (EMR) between London St Pancras, Leicester and Sheffield.
- CrossCountry between Sheffield, Doncaster/Leeds, York and Newcastle/Edinburgh.
- Great Northern and Thameslink between London Kings Cross,Stevenage and Peterborough.
- Grand Central between London Kings Cross and York.
- ScotRail between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh Waverley.
