Police are searching for the driver of a BMW car after a two-vehicle crash in Selby.
It happened just before 9am yesterday (Wednesday) on the A63 between Brayton and the Wishing Well roundabout.
A Ford Fiesta car and a Ford Transit van collided.
Just before, a blue BMW X3 had overtaken multiple vehicles – but the BMW did not remain on the scene. Officers are now keen to speak to this driver.
Paramedics treated both occupants of the Fiesta and Transit van for minor injuries.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for the BMW driver to come forward to speak to us, for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
