Firefighters went into action as a car got stuck in floodwater in Whitby today.
They were called to the incident at 7.21am today (Friday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Whitby and Lythe attended an incident involving a vehicle that had become partially submerged in floodwater.
“They used a winch and crew power to retrieve the vehicle as the occupants were unable to get out of it.”
