Hundreds of homes and businesses are without electricity this morning (Sunday).
There are power cuts in the south of the town, clustered around Doncaster Road.
Burn, Thorpe Willoughby, Chapel Haddlesley and Barlow are among the villages affected.
The traffic lights are out at the A19 Brayton crossroads and at the canal bridge in Selby.
The outage is also affecting Lidl, Costa and the Esso garage in the town.
