A popular beer and music festival returns this weekend – with more than 60 different beers to try.
The Poppleton Beer & Music Festival is back for its 14th edition, for two days of fun and family entertainment.
It will take place on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 June at Poppleton Football Club.

Festival-goers can expect 66 different beers – 55 cask, and at £4 a pint – from the likes of Thornbridge, Vocation, Siren, Oakham, Titanic, Brew York, New Bristol, Trig, Bini, Timothy Taylor’s, Pentrich, Turning Point, Marble, Red Willow, and Roosters.
There will also be a further 11 keg beers at £5 a pint, including lager, pilsner, sour, NEIPA and stout.
Not a beer fan? No problem – as there’ll be ciders, Pimms, Prosecco, wine, and gin available too.
The two days will feature a fantastic line-up of bands, with headliners The Mothers on Friday night and The 40 Thieves on Saturday night. Plus, there’ll be plenty of tasty street food as well! Or why not bring a chair and picnic blanket and settle in for the day.
And there’s loads of things for the kids to do including a climbing wall, inflatables, climbing tunnel, football darts, and plenty of sweet treats.

“The festival has always been about bringing people together, and that’s still what makes it special,” said Rich Fox, one of a team of volunteer organisers.
“We started back in 2011 as a small community beer festival raising funds for the local junior football team and, while we’ve grown considerably since then, we’ve worked hard to retain the friendly atmosphere that people return for again and again.
“What’s surprised us over the years is how far some people travel to attend.
“We regularly chat to people who have made a weekend of it and come from all corners of the UK and beyond, but it’s the support of our York community – alongside volunteers, local businesses, sponsors, breweries, bands, and the wider community – that makes the festival possible.”
It’s a ticket-only event and is likely to sell out, so don’t wait to get your tickets!
Tickets are £14 for adults, with children under 10 going free and family discounts available. Tickets are available here.
