A man has been arrested following a serious sexual assault at a York nightclub.
Now police have released this image of a potential witness they want to speak to as part of their investigation.
The attack happened at the Vudu Lounge on Swinegate late on Saturday night (3 June), going into the early hours of the morning on Sunday (4 June).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We have issued this CCTV of a woman we would like to speak to following a serious sexual assault at a York nightclub.
“She is believed to be a witness who may have important information that will help the investigation.”

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident, and released on bail while police enquiries continue.
