A York boy who was missing from home for more than 24 hours has been found.
The 16-year-old was last seen on Burgess Walk in Foxwood at 10.30am yesterday (Monday, 11 December).
Police were becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and appealed for the public’s help to find him.
Shortly after 5pm, they issued this update: “Earlier this afternoon we appealed for help in finding a 16-year-old boy missing from York. We are pleased to say he has now been found.
“Thank you to everyone who helped with our appeal.”
