A man was hurt in what police are describing as a ‘serious assault’ in a York bar.
It happened at Yates on Church Lane on Saturday 11 April at about 7pm.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The victim was punched in the face on the stairs leading to the toilets.

“He sustained an injury to his eyebrow that required medical treatment.
“We’re asking anyone who recognises the man in the images to get in touch, as we believe he may have information that could assist our investigation.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or the events leading up to it to come forward.”
